It's me, it's me, (and FINALLY), it's T-N-B-T who is back! First off I would like to apologize for my absence but school+ after school football= no time for blogs. I hate to say it, but it is true. I might not even be making another one for another 3 weeks. But that's alright. Lets just get to this original blog!
The 1980s still lives in us all to this day. Whether its TV shows or pop culture references, it always seems to make a comeback. In the land of WWE however, it is the same thing. It seems as if the repetitive mind of Vince McMahon was brought to television, much to the delight of fans. So here are a few examples of WWE superstars now vs. their Counterparts.
1. Big Show/Andre The Giant

It is impossible not to put this comparison on this list. Both men are larger-than-life performers, getting a lot of attention because of their size. Their wrestling ability isn't bad either. Big Show is pretty mobile for someone his size, while Andre was a quick, get the job done man. Both are charismatic, and it shows when you look back at some of their matches.
2. Rusev/The Iron Sheik

It might not be clear at first, but when you see the similarities, there is a reason why they are on this list. Unfortunately, their gimmicks are the same because they both hated on the USA, shoving their nationalism down our throats. Lets not forget the same finisher that they have as well. These flag waving nationalists made us boo the hell out of our TVs.
3. Dolph Ziggler/ Mr Perfect (Curt Henning)

The "Showoff" in his early days had theme song " I Am Perfection". He didn't mind to remind us of how perfect he was back then either. Both of their wrestling abilities were off the charts, entertaining everyone. When turned heel, both of these men were "Perfect" at wrestling, and wanted everybody to know it too.
4. Paul Heyman/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan

These sneaky managers did have a lot in common. First, they managered some of the most popular superstars to date (Brock Lesnar, Mr Perfect). Both or these men did anything for their clients to win. Anything. They both did everything right in their careers, leaving us to one question: Who Is The Better Manager?
5. Kevin Owens/Roddy Piper
These two trash-talking fellas were the greatest heels of their generation. Piper was doing anything and everything possible to be the most detested man in all of the industry. KO worked 15 years all the way to get up to the WWE, and when he did, he became the most hated person right then and there. These guys were the most hated people of their time.
6. John Cena/Hulk Hogan

Another impossible comparison to ignore, these money makers skyrocketed to success. Both were clean cut, save the day baby faces, who were Vince McMahons go-to-guys. The fans connected with them, which made them so popular. Both are charasmatic, with some mic skills, and decent wrestling ability. Even though Cena is being hated on some right now, HulkaMania will live forever! Oh wait.... Um..... Yeah I kind of uh..... Lets just move on to the final comparison....
7. Seth Rollins/Randy Savage

The Macho Man was a cold, calculated heel as he was a pumped, eccentric face. Seth Rollins has hade major success since becoming a heel. Both have main-evented WrestleMania, and did as heels. Both also had excellent wrestling ability, making us want to tune in every week to see more. They will be remembered for being awesome heels.
That's it guys! Thanks for reading! Did I miss anything? Tell me in the comments!
Until next time,
C Ya!
