Made by Hammer Films and more frightening than any of their horror movies. This one involves real, human monsters, those suffering illness and those unwilling to confront it. A taut, well-acted and directed nightmare.

This is one of the best version of this kind of story I have ever seen.
The acting is stupendous, the story builds suspense beautifully right to the very end.
The script is among the best I have seen, well worth a watch for anyone who enjoys a well done movie.
