...The Barbie Perfume Maker! I still can't believe, to this day, that my parents ever bought me this. Back in the 70's, with my 9 year old untrained nose, I thought these scents were FAB-U-LOUS! I remember my favorite scent was the "purple scent wand". After a few days, however, the lovely plastic vials that held one's creations turned a menacing shade of cloudy brown. After a week, you not only had a cloudy brown colored liquid, but rancid water. What young girl doesn't want to smell like low tide? Take that, Coco Chanel.
