Close Contenders to the Ultimate Evil[]
Rick Sanchez[]
Rick has committed several atrocities throughout the show's run. For instance, he is responsible for the destruction of two pocket universes and leaves C-137 Earth to be Cronenberged after Morty's attempt at getting Jessica to like him went awry. In season 5, it was also revealed that Rick was the one who collaborated with the creation of the Citadel of Ricks when he went on a killing spree trying to find Rick Prime after he had murdered his wife and daughter. This would include the Citadel literally breeding different Jerrys and Beths across the multiverse to sire Mortys to go on adventures with Ricks.
Evil Morty[]
The main antagonist of the series, Evil Morty was a variant of Morty who rebelled against his Rick and turned him into his puppet. Afterwards, Evil Morty runs for the President of the Citadel of Ricks and casually murders several Ricks and Mortys to keep the truth from coming out. He also kidnapped and tortured hundreds of Mortys to hide behind their brainwaves and ultimately wants to escape the Central Finite Curve which was established by the Council of Ricks as a means of alienating themselves from the rest of the multiverse where Rick was not the smartest man. To do this, he drains several of the portal guns and reroutes several clones to be blended into more fuel to assist Evil Morty in breaking through the Dimensional Drive. He also tries to kill Rick and Morty on several occasions leaving them to die when he successfully left the Central Finite Curve. However, despite his influence and skills, Evil Morty is ultimately less heinous than Rick Prime and prefers to be left alone only stealing plans for the Omega Gun to act as a fall-safe to deter Rick and Morty from going after him.
