It's the world's first automobile - developed by Carl Benz in 1886. The top speed of the motor car was 16 km per hour. It was known as the Benz Patent Motorwagen.

  Benz made his first car in 1885, it was Daimler in 1886. Neither men ever met although, the companies that they made would eventually merge in 1926.
