The next installment of the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be revealed through a direct event on the Xbox Games Showcase event.
Activision today officially announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 which will get a full reveal at the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase 2024. The is being developed by Treyarch with the help of Raven Software who are assisting on the single-player campaign.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was previously being circulated as Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War. The game will be set in America and a few other parts of the world under a new political rhetoric concept. This will be Treyarch's first major project after Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
At the moment, the details about the game are pretty scarce but the upcoming direct at the Xbox showcase will probably be packed with details and gameplay so stay patient until then.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 direct broadcast will be a full show dedicated to the new game, which will take place at the Xbox Games Showcase event. The event will be livestreamed on June 9, 2024. The official airtime for the Xbox Games Showcase, followed by Black Ops 6 Direct in local time zones:

- ET: June 9, 1 AM
- BST: June 9, 6 AM
- ET: June 9, 7 AM
- JST: June 10, 2 AM

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct will be the first broadcast event for the Microsoft Activision Blizzard portfolio. This is an indication that the next major Call of Duty title might become an exclusive launch title for the next Xbox console, which has been a circulating rumour in the gaming space.
Treyarch is reportedly gearing up for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's release in the last quarter of the year. The success of this new title will determine the creative direction the future Call of Duty games will be built upon under Microsoft's reign.
