Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the top Class of 2027 point/combo guards that we watched at last weekend’s Show Me Showdown, which was held at the Chesterfield Sports Complex.

Camden Evjen Camden Evjen 6'6" | SF Ladue | 2027 MO (Gateway-Knights): A 6’6″ combo forward from Ladue who is a very skilled offensive player on the perimeter. He has a feathery shooting touch from 3-point range and he can also create off the dribble. He could set up his defender with a jab step and then knock down a step-back 3-pointer. He operates from the high post as well as he could drive it or hit the open cuter with a pinpoint pass with good zip on it.

******

Deyton Lucas Deyton Lucas 6'7" | PF Lutheran South | 2027 State MO (Gateway-Knights UA): A 6’7″ forward from Lutheran South who is a very solid “Stretch 4” with his ability to shoot it from the perimeter. He is ideal to have on the pick and pop with his shooting. He has good athleticism and he is very active on the offensive boards. He is also running the court very well.

******

Colton Broadwater (SEMO Select): A 6’4″ forward from Jefferson who is very solid in the low post and can also operate on the perimeter. When he catches the ball inside, he displays good patience before he makes his move and he can finish very well against taller players. He can use the pump fake when he needs to. He is a good secondary ball handler and he can step out and hit the open 3-pointer. His overall fundamentals are very good.

******

Parker Hoffman Parker Hoffman Parker Hoffman 6'8" | PF Marquette | 2027 State MO ( Team Ramey EYCL): A 6’7″ forward from Marquette who is a blue collar worker who plays with a strong motor. He displayed some toughness in the game I watched when he suffered a big cut on his hand in the first half. There was blood everywhere. He came back in the second half with his hand taped and he put in some serious work as he asserted himself with his scoring, rebounding and shot blocking.

******

Bryce Collins Bryce Collins Bryce Collins 6'5" Borgia | 2027 MO ( Arsenal Hoops Black): A 6’6″ forward from Borgia who is young and developing, but I saw some nice things from him in the game I watched him. He made a couple of really good moves in the low post where he displayed strength and some confidence. He used his solid body to positioning himself well inside for post positing and rebounding. I also look forward to watching him in the future.

******

Terry Evans Terry Evans 6'3" | SF Lutheran North | 2027 MO ( Team Ramey ): A 6’5″ forward from Lutheran North who is a young pogo stick with a lot of get up and go in his game. He is very active on the back line of the defense with his rebounding and ability to block shots. He made one play where he jumped the passing lane on the press for an interception and dribbled the length of the court and nearly threw down a tomahawk dunk. He’s a young developing player with a pretty big upside.

******

Logan Dickey (Gateway Knights): A 6’7″ forward from Francis Howell who I am going to keep an eye on going forward after getting my first look at him over the weekend. He is still developmental at this point, but he has a big body and some solid skills at his disposal. He uses his body well to get good positioning and he will also hit an open 3-pointer.
