Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Revealed in New Teaser Videos Ahead of Xbox's June Showcase

Gamers got their first look at the newest entry in the Call of Duty series Thursday.

A teaser trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 dropped, the theme of which was "the truth lies." The video shows vandals breaking into Mount Rushmore hanging banners with those three words over the sculptured faces of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Theodore Roosevelt.

A website promoting the game features a short news clip about similar messages showing up around the world including in Paris, Berlin and Washington, D.C.

The release date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be announced at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9. The game is rumored to take place amid the Gulf War in the early 1990s, but little detail regarding the overall story has been confirmed.
