Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the top Class of 2026 point/combo guards that we watched at last weekend’s Show-Me Showdown in Chesterfield.

Lincoln Swan Lincoln Swan Lincoln Swan 6'2" | PG Howell | 2026 MO (Hardwood Elite): A 6’3″ point guard from Francis Howell who has nice handles and the ability to score in a variety of ways. He is smooth in his approach as he can beat defenders on the blow by or hit them with a hesitation move to the basket. He can pull up from the mid-range and he can hit the open 3-pointer.

******

Aiden Nevins (Mavericks Elite 16U-2): I liked what I saw from this 6’2″ guard from Francis Howell North. He’s an excellent passer and he was at his best when he was making smooth drives to the basket. He was also excellent in the open court as a passer and finisher on the break.

******

Danny Winston ( Team Ramey ): A 5’10” guard from Pattonville who is a dynamic player at both ends of the court. He’s a ball hawk who plays the passing lanes well on defense. He is strong on the dribble as he can use his strength to get to the rim or pull up for the mid-range jumper.

******

Nick Harper Nick Harper 6'3" | SF De Smet | 2026 MO (Gateway-Knights): A 6’1″ combo guard from DeSmet displays the handles to break down defenders to get into the lane as well as the strength to overpower defenders. He stays in attack mode and he loves playing through contact. He can also hit the mid-range jumper to compliment his drive game.

******

Drew Heischmidt Drew Heischmidt Drew Heischmidt 5'11" | SG Duchesne | 2026 MO (Mavericks Elite 16U-1): A 5’11” guard from Duchesne who has good creative moves off the bounce along with 3-point shooting range. He plays under control and doesn’t get sped up too often.

******

Payden Cheng Payden Cheng Payden Cheng 6'0" | PG Fort Zumwalt West | 2026 MO ( Arsenal Hoops Black): A 5’10” guard from Fort Zumwalt West who is a really solid ball handler and playmaker. He also shot the ball very well in the second game that I watched him. He hit four 3-pointers and helped his team make a late rally to pick up a victory.

******

Jack Storck Jack Storck Jack Storck 5'11" | CG Oakville | 2026 MO (Mavericks Elite 16U-1): A 5’11” guard from Oakville who keeps opposing defenders off balance with his ability to change speeds and directions. He sets them up well and can attack in the lane or stop and pop from the mid-range.

******

Harrison Margraf Harrison Margraf MO (Mavericks Elite 16U-3): A 5’11” point guard from Ladue who has a little confident swag to his game. He creates off the dribble well and can get downhill to score. His court vision is good as he made a few nice wraparound feeds. He also hits the open 3-pointer.

********

Jameson Hughes Jameson Hughes Jameson Hughes 6'0" | PG Kirkwood | 2026 MO (Gaetway-Knights): A 6’0″ guard from Kirkwood who handles himself well against pressure defense as he has a nice burst and a very effective crossover move to get to the rim and score. He is also a nice shooter from 3-point range and was good at threading the needle with a nice dime through traffic.
