Ronda Rousey is issuing an apology for spreading a Sandy Hook conspiracy theory, 11 years after the fact.

The 37-year-old actress and former MMA fighter participated in a Reddit AMA this week and faced backlash from users for her past controversial tweets. After being questioned about her tweets about the Sandy Hook victims, Ronda reportedly ended the AMA abruptly.

Ronda had been accused of amplifying a conspiracy theory over the Sandy Hook school massacre, in which 20 children were killed and many others were injured. Some people involved in the conspiracy theory were actually held liable for perpetuating the idea that the shooting was staged.

Now, 11 years later, Ronda is issuing an apology.

The premiere of Fox’s all new reality series, Stars on Mars, is tonight!

Hosted by William Shatner, the series will bring a handful of stars together, where they will live, eat, sleep, strategize and bond with each other in the same space station.

During the show, the stars will be “faced with authentic conditions that simulate life on Mars, and they must use their brains and brawn – or maybe just their stellar social skills – to outlast the competition and claim the title of ‘brightest star in the galaxy.’”

The cast will compete in missions and will vote to eliminate one of their crewmates each week, sending them back to Earth.

Stars on Mars premieres Monday, June 5 at 8 p.m. ET.

Stars on Mars is beaming in from outer space to a TV near you very soon.

The upcoming Fox reality television show revealed the full cast on Thursday (May 4), featuring 12 contestants attempting to be the last one standing.

The stars will “colonize, compete and conquer ‘Mars’ until there is one victorious space invader, who will claim the title of ‘the brightest star in the galaxy.’ Celebrities will ditch their jerseys, business suits and red carpet gowns for the ultimate attire — an astronaut suit.”

The cast includes athletes, a Real Housewives alum, a Modern Family star, a pop star and a Vanderpump Rules cast member, among others.

Star Trek icon William Shatner will host as Mission Control, giving the contestants interstellar assignments.

The series premieres Monday, June 5, at 8 p.m. ET.

The 35-old mixed-martial-artist was upset the referee missed a tapout and, as a result, lost the title match against Liz Morgan. Ronda got in the referee’s face before slamming him to the mat and putting him in an armbar.
