We're including games like Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, since Yoshi is an iconic Mario character, and Luigi's Mansion for the same reason. We're not going to include games that focus on other characters like Donkey Kong or Wario since they have often been turned into their own universe.

Starting off with some good ones, we have items like the iconic Coin, which has been featured in practically every Mario game ever, from the original Super Mario Bros. to Mario Kart 8. We also get practical items like the Flashlight from Luigi's Mansion, and the more fantastical F.L.U.D.D from Super Mario Sunshine.
