Brickleberry: This is a show I have heard of plenty of times in the past few years but never bothered watching it until this year. I always assumed it was just a Family Guy ripoff but nothing too horrible since Bordertown (another claimed family guy ripoff) wasn’t that bad as people made it out to be. Boy was I wrong….
Guess I’ll start with its best aspect… the animation. It's average, since this show is compared to Family Guy a lot I guess I’ll join in and start by admitting that the animation here is... a lot more fluid than Family Guy actually. It's not super stiff and there are a lot more frames, the backgrounds also look good enough. While the animation itself looks good, the visuals aren’t. This show uses a lot of gore and disturbing details for the sake of it being a show for adults, hell even Modern Family Guy knows when to tone that down.
Now for the characters. Everyone here are complete dickheads and extremely unfunny. Their personalities are nothing special because they all have one character trait. You have the black guy, the bear, the dumbass, the hot one, the lesbian, etc. Even then the show can still not do that right and make them out of character just to create very unpleasant jokes such as killing animals and le funnie, uninspiring masturbation jokes (c’mon fucking South Park has more dignity than this).
Oh yeah speaking of unpleasant jokes, those are some of the worst things about this show. They have so many jokes surrounding cum, racism, and sex jokes that are all awful. On top of that it tries way too hard to use the same joke formula from Family Guy, only to take it a step further and make the results uglier.
The plots in this show are horrid, even if there is a plot that sounds decent on paper it's still shit because of the jokes and characters that ruin it. Brickleberry tries so hard to be edgy and quirky to appeal to the adult demographic but it only makes the show a laughing stock at the end of it. I swear every episode I rated terrible or below are some of the worst things you will ever witness, the episodes that were rated weak or meh are somehow tolerable because they had a watchable A or B plot with not many stupid shock humor.
Overall this show is AWFUL. It’s one of the most unbearable and unfunny shows to ever watch. However if there are a few positive things I can say about it is that the animation is not bad and the show could be very fun to watch with friends, even if the show’s quality is still dreadful.
Farzar: Same show, different setting. It's a sci-fi show taking place on the planet Farzar, where there's a team protecting the area from the evil Bazarack. This show may not be as bad as paradise PD but its still really awful. The forced in edgy jokes are still here, the characters all copy traits from the previous ones, but the most important thing is that this show is suppose to be a continuation from Paradise PD. But, the show got cancelled after one season. But I doubt that's the end of it, they're probably making a fourth show as we speak.
And overall this FRANCHISE, yes FRANCHISE is TERRIBLE. I put these shows together not just because they're pratically the same thing, but because they actually are connected in-universe. ridiculous I know.

Paradise PD: I watched this show two years after I watched Brickleberry. I know I say there are a lot of shows that are just family guy clones but that, and Paradise PD are the most obvious. These two clones even had a crossover with each other at one point in the series. Paradise PD is so similar to Brickleberry that I could just copy paste my old Brickleberry review and no one would bat an eye. Seriously, you have the aggressive boss, the fat one, the talking animal, the black stereotype, the white woman and the nervous white guy. It’s Brickleberry but instead of being in a national park it's in a police department, also its SERIALIZED. This show has an ongoing story and it sucks. The humor is awful, the characters all suck, and you know what? I would rather watch Brickleberry over this. I know. What. A. Bar. But to me Brickleberry is slightly better because there were more “less awful” episodes and there were more jokes that were… ok? Maybe I’m giving that show too much credit, but that shows how bad Paradise PD is. It’s just another family guy clone that I think is even worse than brickleberry, a different family guy clone.
