Description5.25" x 7.25"This is the "color rough" for the finished painting that Marc Sasso did for Fleer's Marvel Versus DC Trading Card Series in 1995, Card #55. According to Marc, at the time Marvel commissioned this piece, he was "young and naive and wanted to make an impression" so he actually sent in a finished product with tighter lines, adding that he is now a "much better painter." If that's true, than Marc is a scary good painter as this piece is as good as any original comic book art painting that I have seen. It's remarkably detailed. Check out the original pencils in the additional images. Most importantly, Marc is a great guy and was awesome to work with. His work & his customer service are first class. Thanks again Marc. P.S.
