Benz Patent Motor Car 1886
In 1886, Karl Benz built his Patent Motor Car, the world's first automobile based on a holistic concept where vehicle and engine formed a well matched, organic entitity for the first time.
The exhibit from the collection of the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart is a replica of the original, ready to drive, which Karl Benz donated to the German Museum in Munich in 1906.
