Excellent Cold War Allegory
A superb cold war era bug-eyed monster movie that serves as an allegory for communist infiltration of American society. Well directed action flick marred only by barely passable and openly cheesy special effects. Solid acting throughout with several famous names before they were famous. Still enjoyably watchable even after 70+ years, although not for young children who may feel threatened by the on-screen mayhem. Perfect for late-night monster marathons and audience participation.

Subject: CLASSICS
I agree with the other posts for this movie. This one and the "Godzilla" subtitled are my go to's when I need a "monster" fix. Concerning "Them" this production hired people that worked well together, Very well done for those of us who remember how good Black and White films can be. Like Spielberg's "Schindlers List". And most of the actors and some of their family members went on to have exemplary careers. Like, Whitmore's son JR, is a director. I cannot give a reason for the four stars, consider it personal, institutional.

Very Clean AV
Audio-video is clean and crisp, a very nice copy of this movie. This movie taught me some valuable lessons when I was young. That big lesson was that I need new friends. Why? Because my friends were madly in love with playing the THEM! video game but didn't care for the movie at all. That was a big warning sign to me.

Excellant, sets the standard for ‘50’s scifi
Everything about this movie puts it among the best. Acting is great, lots of recognizable people in it. The storyline is well thought out and flows nicely. Desert scenes are good, some of them from other sci-fi movies centered around the SW are used in plenty of other films..giant ants are okay, not ray harryhausen, but what is.

Them
A very well done film from the mid 1950's with good acting and actors. I highly recommend it.
