Some TV shows were made with video game creation in mind. Pokémon for example? That is one TV series that has dominated and thrive in the world video games. Countless video games have been made through the inspiration of Pokémon and its characters such as Ash Ketchum and Pikachu.
So many other great TV shows deserve their own video games but for some reason, video games haven’t been created… Yet. Most shows that include a little bit of action get turned into TV shows eventually but there are even a lot of shows that don’t have any action that still should deserve a chance at a video game someday. These 10 shows definitely should be turned into a video game at some point.
10 The Midnight Gospel
The Midnight Gospel is a 2020 TV series that was created by Duncan Trussell and Pendleton Ward. The show is about a guy who works as a space caster. He has the power to travel to different worlds using a universe simulator and he has the ability to answer deep and meaningful questions about life.
Duncan Trussell doubles as a voice actor on the show proving his talent. This is one awesome show with existential views that should become a video game.
9 BoJack Horseman
If BoJack Horseman were to be turned into a video game, it would be incredible. Players would get to experience life in "Hollywoo" from the perspective of BoJack, Diane Nguyen, or even Todd Chavez.
Some of the game activities could include Princess Carolyn's pursuit of manager/agent success as she tries to sign new celebrity clients or Mr Peantutbutter going to auditions and trying to land different, more serious roles. Whatever focus this game could take would end up being amazing.
8 Kipo & The Age Of Wonderbeasts
This animated series was released in 2020 and already has a healthy fan base. The show is about a sheltered young girl named Kipo who must quickly figure out what it takes to survive after getting attacked by mutants.
The action-adventure-fantasy Sci-Fi show is designed to be entertaining and it achieves that. That is why if it were to be made into a video game, it would be a total hit.
7 Solar Opposites
Alien-themed television and movies can really be hit or miss. This particular alien-themed show is about a family of aliens who get stuck on earth in middle America. They have disagreements on whether or not the earth is actually a good place to live or not. This comedic animated show has only been around for one season.
Despite the fact that this show is still so new, it would easily thrive as a video game. The goal of the game would be for the player to get the aliens off the earth and back to their better home planet as soon as possible.
6 F Is For Family
F is for Family is an awesome Netflix original TV series that 100% deserves it’s own video game. It is all about a family struggling to get by in the 70s. The father of the family has an anger issue and constantly takes out his temper on his wife and kids.
Although the show is meant to be funny, there are often times a lot of more serious moments to reflect on throughout the show. The goal of the game would be for each family member to find some sort of happiness through various activities.
5 Bob's Burgers
It is easy to imagine what a Bob’s Burgers video game would look like. It would be Bob and his family struggling to serve customers before running out of time!
There have been several other cooking games that share similar theme and vibe but that doesn’t mean that video game creators can’t add some spins and twist to a Bob’s Burgers video game to make it a lot different and much more special.
4 The Owl House
Since The Owl House was barely just released in 2020, there obviously haven’t been many video games released about the show quite yet. It is a fantasy TV show that was created by Diana Terrace.
This particular animated show focuses on a teenager who uncovers a magical realm and ends up making new friends with me mythical creatures. She needs a witch and a warrior king in her travels. It would be so easy to turn this concept into a video game.
3 Paradise PD
Paradise PD is a super inappropriate animated show about police officers who don’t always do their job the way that they are supposed to. This show can be super hilarious but it can also push the envelope a little bit too far sometimes.
If this show were to be made into a video game, the focus of the game would be players control and police officers and making sure that they enforce proper rules and laws.
2 Bless The Harts
Bless the Harts is a hilarious new animated comedy about a family who is doing their best to survive. The family is from the south and they all have southern accents to prove it. The mother of the family is raising her kids by herself struggling to make ends meet as a waitress at a small-town restaurant.
There are a lot of things about this show that are considered relatable to the average individual and so, therefore, this would most likely be a fun video game to play for plenty of folks.
1 Duncanville
Duncanville is another animated series that is still considered pretty brand new. It premiered on February 16, 2020. Fox network brought this show to life which was obviously not a mistake because it has gotten a great response so far.
The show is about a teenager who lives a double life filled with luxury and riches. A video game about this show and focus on the happy young teenager collecting more money, cars, and other non-essentials.
